WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF HIRING A LANDSCAPE ARCHITECT?
Design
Good design can make the most of a site’s potential and greatly increase the usability, functionality, and visual appeal of your development.
Well-designed and maintained landscapes can significantly increase property value and create a positive living environment
Context
Landscape Architects are trained to analyze the existing site conditions and to consider the bigger picture, – how a development fits into the wider landscape so as to maximise the potential of the space and minimise any potential conflicts. This is especially important if a site development is to be carried out in stages, when having an overall master plan can ensure that each stage fits into a coherent whole.
Understanding
Landscape development can be expensive, so a clear understanding of the concept is important to ensure the outcome fulfils your requirements. The use of plans, sketches, 3D models makes it easier to understand the design so that you can be confident that the design will meet your requirements before committing to construction.
Cost Control
Preparation of detailed drawings can be prepared with a budget in mind and allow for the seeking of competitive tenders for the construction that are comparable to reduce misunderstandings and unexpected surprises. Planting designs can simplify the planting procedure, ensuring that plants are used that are appropriate for the site and location saving you money in the long term.
